I have several children scattered across the world. Some are in the US, others in Europe, and another in Georgia. My firstborn is 17 and my lastborn is three years old.

What I regret most is not spending enough time with my children. For years, I would be gone for months chasing money and missing the moments of watching them grow. I'm trying to correct that now.

I can no longer afford to be controversial. These days, I'm very careful about what I put out there. My eldest child constantly keeps me in check.

There are many times when I question the essence of life. I lost my father while I was in Form One and my mother a year later. There have been moments when I have made so much money and wished I could call my mother and tell her, "I want to spoil you now. I want to make up for all the things we never had, for all the things you could not afford while raising us." But she is not there.

I have come to the realisation that in life, you spend so much time chasing the things you think will matter most. Sometimes you are lucky enough to get them, only to realise you still feel empty. Money is something; peace is everything.

I am not one to flaunt my wealth on social media. I do not need to. Why would I post my house or cars? My properties have nothing to do with my music, so I do not see why anyone will want to know what I own, where I live or what I drive.

I don't feel the need to create unnecessary pressure on young people by depicting a flashy lifestyle on social media. You don't have to flaunt what you own to prove that music pays. Doing so creates unrealistic expectations and unnecessary pressure on up and coming musicians.

I will be on the ballot in the next general election as Kibra MP aspirant, whether I will have a party or not. If need be, I will be an independent candidate.

I believe I have what it takes to lead the people of Kibra. I want to continue the development projects championed by the late Ken Okoth that I no longer see today. Instead of staying on the sidelines and complaining, I have decided to go after the seat.

I am not like other entertainers. I am not joining politics to be rich. I already made my money. I just want to help my people.

I have done several community projects through my foundation and being an MP will offer me a platform to do more. I don't see anything wrong with giving people handouts when they attend your rally.
